Practice Every Day

Practicing every day does not have to take a lot of time. It doesn’t even mean something is finished. Last year I practiced a little sketching, every day. It hasn’t made me an artist, but it has improved the end result of many of my drawing attempts now.

For the next few blog posts, I am sharing some of those weeks of daily sketches. I took information I learned at Adobe Max Conference in 2021. One of the presenters (mentioned in a previous blog) Octavia Bromell, also know on social media as Tinkoutsidethebox showed how she did a little every day and how practicing helped her.

It was an encouraging session. After the week long conference, I set about making sure I had a sketch journal for 2022 and set about making that a part of my day. I still sketch and doodle most days this year, but it has become a part of my work day. Keeping a journal with me to write, or doodle as inspiration comes has been a practice this year.

Hope you enjoy. Many of my stationary supplies I purchase at JetPens.com, they have great information about the Midori Traveler’s Journals.
