Change

Seasons and life both change, so has my writing perspective and method. Years ago I thought I was in the end stages of editing of an adult fiction novel. A review of my published works drove me to redo them fixing and improving them before moving forward.

Even in my missteps, writing is always going on, ideas, dialogue, scenes and even crafting a short story or two. Letting the stories evolve is a part of the process.

Fear used to be a motivation nearly overwhelming me. The fear of never finishing another story and the fear of never publishing again.

I am an adult but my writing is young, still growing. I am looking forward to the evolution of my process and voice. Finally, my confidence is returning. Or maybe I just want it more than I am afraid of it.
